Our Teacher Training Centre
is in the same complex as our language school and looks over a park where trainees can sit and enjoy the sun between classes. Our groups are small in order to create a very close relationship between tutors, trainees and students. We pride ourselves on providing a friendly but serious learning environment for our CELTA trainees.
The centre is fully-equipped with photocopying facilities, computers with free, 
fast internet access, drinks machines and a common area with library where trainees can study and prepare their lessons in peace. Trainees have free access to the resource books in the library which contains the latest books on methodology and books on supplementary materials.
Where are we?
The school is located in an attractive, safe part of the city. A walk in the area around the school will show you that most people are locals, not tourists. Unlike the centre of Barcelona you can really experience the city's way of life and (why not!) practice your Spanish.
The Lewis School of Languages Teacher Training Centre is situated a 15 minute metro ride from the city centre, near the university and the beautiful residential area of Pedralbes.
It is next to the Avenida Diagonal and is in one of the most important business and commercial areas of the city. Most headquarters of the largest multinational companies of the city can be found in this area. Because of the importance of the area, public transport is excellent . Here is a map:

We are a 3 minute walk from María Cristina station (Line 3).
- Bus
The following bus routes pass nearby: 6, 7, 16, 33, 34, 63, 67, 68, 70, 72, 74, 78.
- Trains
Barcelona's main train station Sants Estació is 10 minutes away by metro. You can take trains from here to all Spanish towns and cities as well as destinations in France and the rest of Europe.
- Airport
Barcelona International Airport is a 20 minute taxi ride from the school or 30 minutes by train from Sants Estació.
